05How we work

From survey
to service report.

Our goal is not just to get a system running again, but to hand it over correct and serviceable.

  1. 01

    Survey

The system is inspected where the boat is, under real operating conditions.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis

Symptoms, faults and the condition of the existing installation are recorded.

  3. 03

    System analysis

The problem is assessed together with the system it belongs to; the root cause is identified.

  4. 04

    Solution plan & quote

Scope, materials, time and cost are defined and shared.

  5. 05

    Implementation

The approved scope is carried out with the right materials and a serviceable installation.

  6. 06

    Testing & commissioning

The system is run; function, leak and performance checks are made.

  7. 07

    Service report

Findings, work done, materials used and before / after photos are reported.

09Technical notes

Technical notes
from the field.

The right questions, a sound technical approach. Short, clear notes on yacht systems.

All notes

Watermaker

Why winterize a watermaker?

In a watermaker that will stand idle for a long time, sea water left in the membranes can cause biological growth and fouling. The manufacturer’s preservation / pickling procedure protects the membrane; chemical, mix and contact time vary by model.

Read note

Bilge

How do you choose a bilge pump?

Pump selection weighs compartment volume, mounting position, hose size, discharge head and the electrical system together. The rated flow on the label is not enough on its own; real-world capacity is lower.

Read note

Pumps

Why does the hydrophore keep cycling?

Frequent cycling usually comes from low pre-charge in the expansion tank, a small leak in the plumbing, a faulty check valve or a wrongly set pressure switch — and it wears the pump out early.

Read note

Hydraulics

Why does a hydraulic system overheat?

Overheating can come from low oil level, dirty or wrong-viscosity oil, a clogged filter, a relief valve constantly bypassing, internal leaks or insufficient cooling. Heat shortens the life of both oil and seals.

10Frequently asked questions

Good
questions.

Can’t find your answer? Just tell us the system and the marina.

Ask a question
Which areas do you cover?

We are based in Antalya. We provide regular service in Antalya, Kemer, Kumluca, Finike, Demre, Kaş, Manavgat and Alanya (approx. 250 km), project-based work in Fethiye, Göcek, Marmaris, Bodrum and Muğla, and large refit and new-build projects across Türkiye.

Is same-day service possible?

Same-day technical service is available at Setur Antalya Marina, the fishing harbour, Kaleiçi / Old Harbour and Kemer, subject to workload. For genuine emergencies we provide 24/7 contact support.

How do I get a quote?

The fastest way is WhatsApp: share the boat type and length, the marina, the system concerned and a short description; photos and videos speed things up. If needed we survey on site; scope, materials and timing are set out in the quotation.

Do you do electrical work too?

The electrical infrastructure mechanical systems need — pump, motor and control connections (12/24 V DC, 230/400 V AC) — is within our scope. Full marine electrical, automation and navigation electronics work is coordinated with our partner Nice Marin Elektrik.

Do you give a warranty?

Warranty terms for workmanship and the equipment used are stated separately on the quotation, according to the scope of work and the manufacturer’s conditions.

What do you deliver when the job is done?

The system is tested and commissioned before handover, with a service report covering findings, work done, materials used, before / after photos and recommendations.

Which brands do you work with?

Each service page lists the systems we have service experience with and those common in the industry, separately. Brand names do not imply authorized service status; manufacturer documentation applies to all work.

Next step

Keeping you
at sea.

Share the system, your marina and what you need; if necessary we start with an on-site survey.
